Rowland Hill is an interdisciplinary artist based in Manchester. She is interested in prescribed systems of expression, particularly choreographic or gestural regimes, and the relationship between verbal and non verbal communication.

In 2018 Rowland graduated with a Masters degree from the Slade School of Fine Art where she received the Clare Winsten Memorial Award. In 2019 she was awarded a Jerwood Bursary. She has presented her work at spaces and platforms including Raven Row, ICA, Montez Press Radio (NYC), Splendor (Amsterdam) and Copenhagen Contemporary Art Centre. She also frequently performs works by other artists across visual and sound art contexts.
