Loz Atkinson

Loz Atkinson is an internationally exhibited and widely collected artist. Her concept driven work has been depicted in paint, sculpture and digital media amongst others. Open to any subject, the exploration of ideas holds the importance and she adapts her skills in many processes to convey them. Provocative yet hopeful, Loz plays with perceptions of what is seen and not seen, using bold shape, line, colour and symbolism. Enjoying an element of harmonious discord when creating work. This untitled series uses exterior eggshell, acrylic and metallic Ink on canvas and concern the human need to measure, comprehend, conquer and solve the existential mysteries of the universe, which we are inextricably a part. Using psychological theory and mathematics to highlight the folly yet importance of such endeavours. Loz enjoys an element of harmonious discord when creating work.
