The Language of Youth: Poetry and Graffiti Workshops

The Language of Youth is a FREE creative programme that invites young people to explore the ways we communicate - and how this shapes the connections and divides between generations. Through two art forms - poetry and graffiti - we’ll explore the unique ways young voices are heard, understood, and sometimes misunderstood across generations.

Taking place in Newark (Poetry) and Ilkeston (Graffiti), these workshops will equip young people with new techniques and creative methods to help uncover ways young people drive innovation in language and art.

Queering Mansfield Museum

UK New Artists, Creative Citizens and Mansfield Museum are looking for 14-19 year olds to help shape and deliver a series of events and exhibitions for Mansfield's LGBTQ+ community. From November 2024 to June 2025, you’ll meet monthly with artists Tom Stockley and Cat Anderson to dive into LGBTQ+ stories, explore new ideas, and create something amazing for a brand-new exhibition at the museum.
