Creative Citizens involves a wide network of cultural and community partners, in our home region - the East Midlands, as well as nationally and internationally. We also connect with young creatives through work with schools and youth services, whilst offering a wide range of open call opportunities for young people to tap into directly.

Arts Award is a range of unique qualifications that supports anyone aged up to 25 to grow as artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the wider arts world through taking challenges in an art form - from fashion to digital art, pottery to poetry. The awarding body responsible for Arts Award is Trinity College London. In England, Arts Award is managed by Trinity in association with Arts Council England and 10 regional Bridge organisations drive participation.

Artsmark is the only creative quality standard for schools and education settings, accredited by Arts Council England. Artsmark is open to primary, secondary and special schools, pupil referral units, youth offending teams and sixth form colleges. They support settings to develop and celebrate their commitment to arts and cultural education.

ChalleNGe is the Cultural Education Partnership for Nottingham City. ChalleNGe is a Nottingham city-wide partnership of arts and heritage professionals, creative practitioners, teachers, youth leaders and young people who work together to take risks and make things happen – ensuring children and young people of all backgrounds living in Nottingham engage in arts and culture, whether at home, in the community or at school. 

The City Classroom is the Leicester(shire) gateway to high quality arts and cultural learning. As the Cultural Education Partnership for Leicester(shire), developed by a group of local arts organisations, it's ever growing membership works collaboratively to produce, programme and provide access to inspiring creative experiences; raising standards and supporting children and young people's progression.


As part of our upcoming Taking Place programme, happening in and around Lincoln from Oct 2022 - 23, we are developing and delivering new projects and activities with a range of new partners within the city including Sincil Bank Neighbourhood Team, Zest Theatre, Groundlab and Bridge Central.

Speakers for Schools aim to end educational inequality by giving all young people access to the same prestigious networks available to the top fee-paying schools in the UK. Through talks from today’s influential figures, their work experience programme and networked support partners they are helping level the playing field for young people of all backgrounds. And, they keep their services for schools and students entirely free of charge.

The Mighty Creatives is a charity based in the East Midlands which provides arts and cultural opportunities for children and young people, particularly those who are the most disadvantaged and excluded, in order to contribute to the fight against child poverty. Their vision is of a world where all children an:d young people will harness the power of arts, creativity and culture in order to transform themselves, their communities and their futures.

Run by Young Creatives Nottingham, the Young Creative Awards is open to 11-24 year-olds working, living or studying in Nottingham. The annual initiative champions creativity, celebrating achievements in Architecture & Design, Dance, Music, Film, Animation & Digital Media, Fashion & Textiles, Graphic Design, Theatre, Photography and Visual Art. Winners are awarded cash prizes and promotion, as well as mentoring, work placements and professional development opportunities. 


Voice is a magazine and platform for young creatives covering arts, culture, politics and technology. Featuring the latest news and reviews, they're passionate about supporting young people to have their say. Voice believes arts, culture, politics and tech are all interconnected, and they explore those connections through interviews, features and comment pieces.
